Charlotte Mecklenburg Library can help with its free monthly Active Reading Workshops for you AND your children.
You’ll learn how to share picture books in a way that gets your child talking and thinking about the pictures, words, and ideas in the book. A free dinner is included!
The next two-evening program in University City is Dec. 4 and 11 at Northside Christian Academy.
Details of the monthly Active Reading Family Workshops in University City
University City’s monthly Active Reading Family Workshops for preschoolers (ages 3-5) and school-age children (ages 5-11) take place 4-6 pm on the first AND second Wednesdays of each month at Northside Christian Academy, 333 Jeremiah Blvd. Directions
You will receive 2 free books at each session and enjoy a free meal with your family!
Learn fun ideas and activities that you can use to support early literacy at home.
Learn how to use the ABCs of Active Reading one on one with your child.
Reservations are required!
Your registration saves your seat for both dates for this family workshop.
Schedule: Mealtime will be 4-5 pm, with the workshop to follow 5-6 pm.
