Kit Rea Legacy Game
We are excited to announce that Vance High School will be hosting the Inaugural Rea of Hope Legacy Football Game on October 5, 2018 in honor of our beloved Principal and cancer survivor — Kit Rea. As she retires, we are dedicating our annual Cancer Awareness game to our very own leader who has dedicated much of her 35-year career to Vance High School. The game will be held at Vance High School at 7:00 p.m.
Through Ms. Rea’s efforts Vance has improved student performance and community connection. Vance has increased in #CougarPride leading to positive impacts in the school and community. Just this year the School has exceeded growth for the 2107-2018 school year and graduating seniors were awarded over 10 million dollars in scholarships.
As Vance begins a new chapter in leadership, we are excited to honor Kit and her dedication, leadership, and fight! Please join us in this endeavor by making a donation to the Levine Cancer Institute’s Project Pink. Project Pink provides mammograms and resources for women who do not have access to proper care. Your donation will help create more survivors like Ms. Rea. Then join us as we Go Pink at the Rea of Hope Legacy Classic game.
